👧 What Ages Are Craft Parties Suitable For?
Craft activities can be adapted for different ages, but not every craft is suitable for every child.
Ages 2–3
I can provide very simple, low-mess activities such as colouring, stickers and basic decorating.
A parent or responsible adult must remain with children under 3 to supervise them.
I do not provide childcare or individual supervision.
I do not currently offer craft activities specifically designed for children under 2.
Ages 3–5
Simple creative activities work particularly well, including:

Ages 5–7
Children can usually manage a wider range of activities, including:

I will recommend activities based on the actual ages of your group rather than simply providing the same craft to every party.
⏱️ How Long Do Craft Parties Last?
Craft parties are normally booked for 2 hours.
This gives enough time for children to settle in, complete their projects without being rushed and take their creations home.
Craft activities themselves may take different amounts of time, so I usually prepare a main activity along with additional creative activities or options to keep the session flowing.
For larger groups or more complicated projects, additional time may be recommended.
🧹 What About Mess?
I choose activities with the venue in mind.
If you're booking a craft party in a home, pub, community hall or other venue, let me know what facilities are available and I can recommend suitable activities.
I can focus on low-mess crafts where required.
For activities involving paint, glue, slime or other potentially messy materials, the venue should have a suitable area and appropriate surfaces that can be protected.

How many children can take part?
The prices above are based on up to 10 children.
Additional children can usually be accommodated, with an extra charge depending on the materials required for the chosen craft.
Can I choose the craft?
Yes. I can suggest suitable activities based on the children's ages, your party theme and your budget.
Some activities require more preparation or specialist materials, so bespoke crafts may have a higher starting price.
Can you provide crafts for mixed ages?
Yes. Mixed-age groups are very common. I can choose activities that allow younger children to complete a simpler version while older children can add more detail or personalisation.
Do you provide childcare?
No. I provide entertainment and lead the craft activities, but I am not a babysitter or childcare provider.
A parent or responsible adult must supervise children who require individual assistance, particularly children under 3.
Do you provide everything needed?
Yes. Craft materials and equipment for the agreed activities are included in the quoted price.
The venue should provide suitable tables and chairs unless agreed otherwise.
Can craft parties be combined with other entertainment?
Absolutely. Craft activities can work particularly well alongside face painting or balloon modelling.
For example, a two-hour party could include a craft activity followed by balloon modelling or face painting.
