A Science & Slime Party is a structured two-hour children's party experiemce, with a mixture of demonstrations, hands-on experiments ad creative slime making.
🧪First Hour - Science in Action
We start with an exciting hour of science demonstrations and experiments exploring some of the hidden forces that are all around us.
Children can discover more about:
- Static electricity
- Air pressure & gases
- Magnetism
- How everyday ingredients can create surprising results
Depending on the age and group, activities and demonstrations may include:
- Blowing up balloons using kitchen science
- Making a floating UFO
- Bouncing bubbles
- Bottle-popping experiments
- Other interactive science demonstrations
The emphasis is on getting children involved, rather than simply watching a science show. Children can make predictions, see what happens and discover the science behind the results.
It's a great way to make science exciting and accessible while keeping a group of energetic children entertained.
Break Time
After the first hour, there is a short break while I prepare the second part of the party.
This is the perfect time for party food, drinks and cake before we get stuck into the messy fun!
🌋Second Hour - Volcanoes, Cake and Slime
Now things get even more exciting!
Build & Erupt a Volcano
The children work together to create a volcano before the birthday child gets the important job of triggering the eruption.
It's a brilliant group activity and makes a fantastic photo opportunity for parents.
Blow Out the Birthday Candles... With Science!
The birthday child also gets to use an invisible gas created during the experiments to blow out their birthday candles.
Don't worry - the cake itself stays completely safe!
It's a memorable little piece of science magic that makes the birthday child feel extra special.
Make Your Own Slime
The remainder of the party is dedicated to one of the most popular activities of all: making slime!
Each child gets to create their own slime mixture and choose how they want it to look and feel.
Depending on options available, children can choose from:

- Clear or opaque slime

Everyone gets to take their slime home.
